Built by parents, for parents (and the wonderful people who help us!)
Hello! We're the Buttles.
We're Natalie and Paul, the super proud (and occasionally exhausted) parents of Cleo and Cora — our two little bundles of joy, mischief, and the occasional bedtime negotiation.
And yes, if you're wondering about the name... Cleora is our girls' names smooshed together. We figured if they're the reason we need this app so badly, they might as well get the credit!
Why We Built Cleora
Parenting is wonderful. It's also completely, utterly relentless. The invisible work of running a household with children — the scheduling, the remembering, the coordinating — it never stops. And most of it lives in one person's head.
That was us. Exhausted. Overwhelmed. Constantly feeling like we were forgetting something.
The school pickup. The swimming lesson. Did we tell the childminder about the allergy? When's that birthday party? Who's picking up on Thursday? Is there food in the fridge for packed lunches tomorrow?
Sound familiar?
We kept thinking, "There must be an app for this." Not another family calendar. Not a shared to-do list. Something that actually understood the chaos of raising kids. Turns out, there wasn't — so we decided to build it ourselves.

Allergies, medications, routines, school details — everything you need to remember, but shouldn't have to keep in your head.

That constant low-level anxiety that you've forgotten something? We want to make that go away. Less mental load, more headspace.
From Our Family to Yours
We're building Cleora because we need it ourselves. Every feature comes from a real moment of "ugh, why is this so hard?" in our own lives.
We hope it helps your family as much as we hope it'll help ours. And if you have ideas for how to make it better, we'd genuinely love to hear from you — we're all figuring this parenting thing out together, after all.
